International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), ISA Certified Arborists on Staff

The International Society of Arboriculture has served the tree care industry for over eighty years as a scientific and educational organization. ISA Certification is a way for tree care professionals to demonstrate their commitment to the profession and the industry. Certified Arborists are individuals who have achieved a level of knowledge in the art and science of tree care through experience and by passing a comprehensive examination developed by some of the nation’s leading experts on tree care. Certified Arborists must also continue their education to maintain their certification and adhere to a Code of Ethics. Therefore, they are more likely to be up to date on the latest techniques in arboriculture.

ACRT - Independent Vegetation Management, Certified Line Clearance Arborists on Staff

This workshop, which is unique and only available through ACRT Urban Forestry Training, is designed for the tree worker whose person, tree or equipment comes within the 10' safety zone around energized wires. Successful completion of this course satisfies OSHA's demand of employers that they provide electrical safety training for their employees. ACRT certification as a Line Clearance Arborist or Line Clearance Arborist Trainee is issued upon satisfactory completion of the course.
